Tischer model maintenance – small improvements with a big impact
– Swivel: Aluminum swivel table now standard
– Sliding: Sliding louvre door in the bathroom creates space at the passageway
– Strömen: Optimized heating air distribution ensures comfort
Kreuzwertheim/Düsseldorf. Details are often overlooked. And yet they can have a big impact. The cabin experts at Tischer are aware of this, which is why they periodically update all their cabins. At the Caravan Salon 2018, there are now three innovations in particular that will make life easier for pick-up campers in the future: One increases comfort, the other two create more space.
Aluminum swivel table: Steers in at every request
The best ideas come from practical experience. This is why requests from the Tischer fan community are always incorporated into production. This was recently the case with the aluminum swivel table. It’s not new, but it was previously an optional accessory and had a price tag. Tischer has now cut this out and is fitting the table as standard in all cab models (except TRAIL/BOX 280). As the name suggests, it can be swiveled out of the room in a few simple steps. This creates space where there was none before. No more squeezing through and getting stuck. The table is a robust companion that goes along with everything and doesn’t get in the way when it’s not needed. This also creates more storage space for transportation during the journey, which can be used for bulky items. When it’s time for the next meal or games evening, the swivel table comes out of its hiding place and is ready for any use.
Bathroom door: hide-and-seek in the wet room
What sounds a little slippery is simply very practical. This is because the size of the bathroom is naturally more manageable in a pop-up cabin. That’s why we need detailed solutions that open up spaces. The new louvre sliding door adds to the comfort in the cabin, because when open it simply runs along the wall of the bathroom and does not protrude into the living area. In this way, freedom of movement in the bathroom and at the passageway is always guaranteed. High-quality plastic also makes the door completely water-repellent. The beading water not only makes the bathroom easier to clean, but also increases its durability. Tischer is now installing the sliding door as standard in all cab models. A small step in bathroom design, but a big step towards optimum showering pleasure on vacation.
Heating concept: All just hot air
Cabins are for fair-weather campers? Not at all! Even in the coldest regions of Patagonia, Tischer cabins have already proven their ability to perform and endure. In addition to the good sealing of the outer shell, Tischer provides its cabins with a powerful heating system in the form of the Truma Combi 4 (except for the TRAIL/BOX 200 entry-level model). It helps through the cold, uncomfortable days. To achieve this, however, the heated air must be distributed evenly throughout the cabin. To ensure this, Tischer has now revised the heating concept and optimized the air distribution in the sleeping and living areas. The changes mainly concern the furniture construction and the installation of the air ducts. With this in mind, cabin owners can relax and cheat Father Frost.
