24th TISCHER Meeting 2023: a celebration of solidarity
- From May 18 to 21, around 250 caravan fans from near and far came together in Kreuzwertheim
- In addition to the social get-together, there were also work tours, workshops and regional attractions
Kreuzwertheim. At TISCHER GmbH Freizeitfahrzeuge in Mainfranken, tradition is upheld in many aspects. This applies to the high-quality individual production in the manufacturing process as well as to the special proximity to the customer. To give it the flair of familiarity and informality typical of camping enthusiasts, the big TISCHER meeting is held once a year. The motto of the event is “Friends meet friends” and it took place for the 24th time this year from May 18 to 21. The results of the event on the fairground in Kreuzwertheim are impressive:
A total of around 250 TISCHER customers, TISCHER friends and TISCHER partners set off with pick-up and drop-off cabs. They came together at the meeting point from near and far like a rally. Here they were warmly welcomed by Peter Tischer, the former Managing Director, and Patrick Sauer, his stepson and successor.
Fun camping and a lively exchange of experiences
TISCHER had created a great setting for the event with the prepared parking space, bread roll trolley, drinks bar, marquee, live music and bus transfer to the plant. The joy of outdoor activities and the exchange of experiences among campers are always the focus. Those who wanted to could also expand their knowledge on the subject of skip cabins. This was ensured by workshops and exciting factory tours, which offered insights into the new production hall, among other things. There were also tips for tours to make your stay in Main-Franconia even more enjoyable. They went to Bronnbach Abbey, Wertheim Castle and the “Alte Grafschaft” winery with an atmospheric wine tasting.
Already looking forward to the TISCHER Meeting 2024
For Patrick Sauer, who took over the management of the caravan specialist from long-time Managing Director Peter Tischer in 2022, the annual meeting is a passionate matter for the boss: “The cohesion between the company and its customers, but also between the participating camping fans themselves, is something very special. It is very important to me to maintain and promote this by continuing this tradition.”
The TISCHER family is also something special for customers like Martin Hones. “If I see a TISCHER cab on the road, I immediately take the next exit. The other driver usually does the same and then we have a coffee together, like good friends,” he says enthusiastically.
As we said goodbye after three varied days in Kreuzwertheim, we were already looking forward to next year. TISCHER will thus remain true to the round numbers: 2023 is the year of the company’s 50th anniversary. The following year will mark the 25th anniversary of the popular TISCHER meeting.
The very special thing about the annual TISCHER meetings, apart from the very lively participation, is a strong feeling of cohesion. For TISCHER, this is much more than a traditional form of customer loyalty.
For long-time TISCHER customer Martin Hones, the TISCHER meeting is always a fixed date in the annual calendar, where he can spend three days exchanging experiences with other TISCHER fans.

Once again this year, TISCHER created a harmonious setting for fun, encounters and, of course, food and drink at the event location.
Information and the exchange of knowledge were not neglected either. This is because TISCHER opens its doors at the meeting and offers interested parties the extraordinary opportunity to look directly into the factory halls and learn more about the elaborate manufacturing processes.
