Tischer at the CSD: Discover the New!
- New Faces, New Shape, New Dynamic
- New fabric decoration in the interior
Kreuzwertheim. Discover the New! is Tischer’s motto at this year’s Caravan Salon (27.08.-05.09.21). The Kreuzwertheim-based company will be taking trade fair visitors to Hall 11, Stand C11 into the world of all-wheel-drive living dreams with all kinds of innovations on the loading area.
New Faces: Generation change
After almost 40 years at the helm of the company, Managing Director Peter Tischer is handing over the baton to his stepson Patrick Sauer from 01.01.2022. The 30-year-old engineering graduate has grown up with the company, so to speak. “It means a lot to me to now be able to take over my stepfather’s position. I have many ideas that I would like to implement over the next few years and I look forward to going down this path together with all our employees and customers.”
Peter Tischer: “I am incredibly proud of the path we – and by that I mean the entire team – have taken with Tischer. Nevertheless, I’m also looking forward to my new chapter in life. I know that Tischer is in good hands with Patrick.” At the same time, Thomas Hoffman, formerly assistant to the management, will take over the commercial management at Tischer from January 2022. He follows in the footsteps of Thomas Klein, who has held this position for 40 years.
“I’ve been with Tischer with heart and soul for four years now. I appreciate the trust that has now been placed in me. I’m really looking forward to the new challenges,” says Thomas Hoffmann.
New Dynamic: Trail models with new alcove shape
More streamlined and modern: this is how the Trail models will look from September 2021. A new alcove adorns the front of the cabins. Inspired by current models from major car manufacturers, the body is characterized by a more angular design. A flat front surface emphasizes the modern design and is ideal for attaching additional headlights.
The interior also benefits: The angular shape increases the usable area in the alcove by a whole five centimeters on each side (length and width). “The extra space makes the sleeping area much more comfortable,” explains Patrick Sauer.
The new alcove design will be presented at the Caravan Salon Düsseldorf.
It will be the standard version of the Trail models when ordered from September 2021.
A breath of fresh air for interiors: new fabric designs
New fabric designs give the interior a fresh look. From September 2021, buyers will be able to opt for a maritime look or a subtle design in shades of gray for the interior.
