Bulky powerhouse meets space miracle
Bulky powerhouse meets space miracle
Ford Ranger and TISCHER TRAIL/BOX 260S for outdoor enthusiasts with high standards
Kreuzwertheim/ Cologne. What’s new about the Ford Ranger is above all its appearance: behind its striking front, power and space can be sensed. Even tall drivers will find sufficient comfort in the cab of this powerful machine. Thanks to a 3.2-liter diesel engine with up to 147 kW (200 hp), the Ranger never runs out of steam. A small button in the cockpit makes driving even more fun: once pressed, the transmission distributes its power to all four tires and all-wheel drive fans are in their element. In this way, any terrain becomes the pick-up’s natural playground. With a fording depth of up to 800 mm and a wheelbase of 3,220 mm, the Ranger opens up roads where there are none. However, with an overall length of a good 5.4 m (with trailer hitch), it remains maneuverable and fits into conventional parking spaces. This makes it the ideal base for living cabins such as the TISCHER TRAIL/BOX 260S. This makes it possible to combine driving pleasure with maximum comfort on a camping vacation.
Unlimited flexibility
More and more camping fans are following this idea when planning their vacation. Due to the high level of flexibility on site, set-down cabins are in vogue. In addition to the horsepower and resilience of the vehicle, this travel option has the advantage of being able to park the cabin in the countryside. The vehicle is then fully available for excursions or shopping at the vacation destination. The lowering process can be carried out in a few simple steps and without a great deal of effort. The focus in the living area is on spaciousness and intelligent detailed solutions. Even discerning campers will get their money’s worth here.
Value and worth
The TISCHER TRAIL/BOX 260S combines functionality with plenty of space: a standing height of almost two meters, a bed with a lying surface of 1.98×1.50 m as well as a convertible seating area, numerous integrated storage compartments and a floor length of 2.67 m transport living comfort into the outdoor experience. The kitchen with fridge and the bathroom with integrated shower underline the comprehensive comfort approach. TISCHER also offers five design variants for upholstery covers and curtains. From subtle gray to eye-catching yellow, every camper can create their own individual ambience. The furniture is made from light but durable poplar wood, which is processed by hand. The LED lighting provides sufficient brightness, but is designed to save energy. High-quality upholstery, the “Froli Star” sleeping system and “Seitz” double windows with no cold bridges remove any last doubts about the feel-good factor. TISCHER also manufactures all cabins in the range individually for all those who do not like the standard version.
Cooperation between TISCHER and Ford extended
Ford and TISCHER recently presented the combination of Ranger and TRAIL/BOX 260S at the “Interzum” trade fair in Cologne. The “Mobile Spaces” special show there with innovative new surfaces and materials thus became a catwalk for the interplay between powerful pick-up and spacious drop-off cab. “We have noticed that the demand for living comfort is also constantly increasing in mobile travel. With presentations like this one at Interzum, we stay up to date and can also present future-proof solutions for pick-ups and cabins,” explains Sales Manager Thomas Klein from TISCHER.
