Tischer at Caravan Salon Düsseldorf 2026: New lightweight cabin and two special combinations
The Caravan Salon Düsseldorf 2026 opens its doors soon — and Tischer Freizeitfahrzeuge from Kreuzwertheim is bringing along some new products: a new lightweight demountable cabin that, for the first time, fits any pickup regardless of brand or model. Plus two vehicle-cabin combinations that are sure to generate buzz.
// New lightweight cabin 200 Super Light: just 550 kg, 2 m floor length, wet cell — manufactory quality Made in Germany
// Pure flexibility: the new cabin fits a wide range of pickups — regardless of brand or model
// Also at CSD: VW T7 with Trail 280 S and Toyota Land Cruiser with Box 260 SP
Kreuzwertheim. When the gates to Caravan Salon 2026 (August 28 – September 6, 2026) open at the Düsseldorf exhibition grounds in late August, the manufactory producer from Kreuzwertheim will have plenty to show. At the center is a world premiere: a new special variant of the proven 200 series that combines lightweight construction, greater comfort, and maximum flexibility — responding directly to the demands around payload, weight, and electric mobility. With Caravan Salon 2026, Managing Director Patrick Sauer and his team are sending a clear signal: “With this cabin, we’re expanding our 200 series with a particularly flexible model that fits nearly any pickup and comes with a high-quality fit-out — including a wet cell with shower. This gives us a solution for customers with heavy vehicles like the Dodge RAM, electric pickups, or high trailer loads.”
The new model at CSD is complemented by two further highlights: the VW T7 with the Tischer Trail 280 S, and a Toyota Land Cruiser with the Box 260 SP on a flatbed. All models can be experienced live at the Tischer stand B31 in Hall 12.
New: Lightweight cabin 200 Super Light — versatile in use, thoughtfully equipped
Driven by concrete customer requests, Tischer has developed a cabin that sets new standards: 550 kg total weight (with a full 50-liter freshwater tank), 2 m floor length, a wet cell with shower and toilet, an electric-gas combination heater, and a fully equipped kitchen — all built to Tischer’s typical manufactory quality. The key to its versatility lies in doing away with side skirts: this leaves the interior unrestricted and allows the cabin to be mounted on nearly any flatbed.
This is especially relevant for heavy models like the Dodge RAM or electric pickups, which already run close to the 3.5-tonne limit — beyond which a standard Class B license is no longer sufficient and drivers become subject to truck toll obligations. The model is also of interest to customers who need a 3.5-tonne trailer load capacity. A lighter cabin creates real room to maneuver here, improving everyday usability and boosting comfort.

Two more highlights: VW T7 and Toyota Land Cruiser
Alongside the world premiere, Tischer is showing two combinations that impressively capture the breadth of the brand. The new VW T7 carries the Trail 280 S: with 2.03 m of standing height, a round-table seating area for up to four people, a full kitchen, and its own bathroom, it’s built for longer trips too.
Next to it stands the Toyota Land Cruiser with the Box 260 SP on a flatbed. What was previously a custom solution built on request is now a permanent part of the Tischer portfolio — and the concept is convincing.
The continuous flat loading surface, free of wheel arches protruding into the floor level, creates an unusually generous amount of design freedom. Kitchen units and furniture can run all the way to the floor, and the floor plan can be individually configured — from a U-shaped seating area, to an alcove bed with extension options, to a fold-up rear bench with storage space for bikes or sports equipment. Both vehicles will be available at the stand for test sitting and consultation.
