Tischer Meeting 2026: 110 pick-ups and relaxed days in the Netherlands
After last year’s action-packed edition at the Polish off-road park, the Tischer Meeting 2026 struck a different note: relaxed days at a Dutch campsite, with a city tour, a monastery visit, and plenty of time to talk shop. Around 200 participants gathered with roughly 110 vehicles over Ascension Day weekend — including long-standing regulars as well as many new faces, proof that the Tischer community is growing. Kreuzwertheim. “Friends meeting friends” is the motto of the annual Tischer Meeting, to which Tischer Freizeitfahrzeuge GmbH invites guests every year over Ascension Day. This time, a dedicated area at the Vakantiepark de Bergen campsite near Wanroij in the Netherlands, close to the German border, was reserved for the exclusive event. There, on May 14, 2026, Tischer managing director Patrick Sauer welcomed around 200 participants. “After last year’s action-packed meeting, this time we deliberately wanted to create a calmer setting. What really makes our meeting special are the conversations between the cabins — the familiar faces who come back every year, and the new ones who join us. Our community is growing, and Wanroij offered a wonderful setting for that,” said Patrick Sauer.

Exchanging experiences, a city tour, and a visit to the oldest inhabited monastery in the Netherlands
Despite the rather mixed weather, a relaxed mood prevailed from the very start. Regulars and newcomers quickly found common ground, cabin owners swapped notes, and more than a few tips from decades of experience changed hands. As at every Tischer Meeting, the traditional awards for the oldest cabin to attend and the longest distance travelled were also given out in Wanroij: the oldest model on site dated from 1997 and is still in use today — a fine testament to the cabins’ longevity. The longest journey was made by a participant from Hungary.

The joint program combined guided activities with plenty of free time for individual pursuits. It kicked off with a welcome dinner on arrival day. The next day took participants to nearby Cuijk, where a city tour led through the Archaeological Centre, the Roman Garden, the church and chapel, as well as sculptures and a heritage garden. After a shared lunch came a visit to Sint Agatha Monastery, the oldest still-inhabited monastery in the Netherlands. Time was also deliberately set aside for individual activities: adventure mini-golf, a lake beach, a rowing and fishing pond, and tours on rental bikes — all available directly at the campsite. On the evening before departure, a shared dinner rounded off the weekend — as always, with anticipation for the next reunion.
