Kreuzwertheim. Hardly any other trade fair attracts people with a passion for off-road nature experiences more than the annual ‘Abenteuer & Allrad’ in Bad Kissingen. From 19 to 22 June, TISCHER Freizeitfahrzeuge GmbH will also be presenting itself at this unique event for the outdoor, caravanning and overlanding scene at stand number E01.

Patrick Sauer, managing director of the renowned manufacturing company, has put together an impressive fleet of cabins for the exhibition stand. In addition, there is a special highlight that will make holiday adventures in a pick-up truck with a living cabin even more self-sufficient and varied: “After an intensive development phase, we can finally present the innovative TISCHER travel tent. This allows you to create more sheltered space outside, right at the cabin entrance. The full-size awning can be pulled in and tensioned on two sides of the cabin. We worked closely with the specialists at dwt-Zelte to develop the model. I am sure that the tent idea and the expanded expedition possibilities will inspire many TISCHER customers.”

Amazing variety of cabins at the stand

This time, five different living cabin models will be on display at the TISCHER stand to show visitors the enormous range of products available. In addition to the BOX 200 and BOX 230S versions with side entry, the TRAIL 240, the TRAIL 260S with side entry and the TRAIL 260SD will also be on display. They are all on display at the exhibition stand with a powerful pick-up truck, demonstrating the fascinating combinations that can be created. Visitors to the exhibition can experience the interior of each cabin. They can examine the furniture, fabric covers and ambience, but above all enjoy the typical TISCHER ‘wow’ experience when it comes to the spacious dimensions of the living area and bathroom. For example, all the models on display have a standing height of 195 cm, which never fails to amaze interested visitors.

TISCHER tent as the ideal extension to the cabin

The new TISCHER tent allows you to significantly expand the already generous space inside the cabin. This creates plenty of additional space directly in front of the cabin entrance that is well protected from the weather during excursions – both for models with rear doors and side entry versions. One or two people can handle, attach and set up the tent with little effort.

Dimensions and quality of the TISCHER awning

The dimensions of the high-quality textile extension for TISCHER cabins are impressive: its height ranges from 252 to 270 cm. It is attached using the piping rail mounted on the cabin. The tent consists of six parts: the roof, two side walls and three front wall sections, each approx. 250 cm wide. They allow for a spacious corner setup with a tent depth of approx. 220 cm. The front wall sections with their generous windows and convenient tent entrance can be interchanged as desired and can be completely removed in warm weather. This turns the tent into a sun canopy. Light-transmitting and airy gauze inserts in the tent windows ensure optimum cross ventilation to keep condensation and moisture in the tent to a minimum. Other features include curtains supplied as standard and, above all, the surrounding concave canopy with a depth of 30 cm, which protects the walls from the weather.

High-quality Trailtex, PU-coated on the outside, is used for the roof and walls. Tent fabric of this type is lightweight, breathable and easy to wash. The tent floor is sealed with a raised ground strip made of polyester fabric coated with PVC on both sides. The tent poles also meet the highest standards. They are made of aluminium in dimensions of 28/25 x 1 mm and come from dwt’s own pole production facility for maximum stability and sturdiness.

For secure and tight anchoring to the vehicle, the edge of the tent roof is pulled in on two sides of the cabin using the pre-mounted keder rail. The high-quality aluminium tent poles are securely fastened using easy-to-attach Vario clips type S. No screws are required. The fastening points can be freely determined.
