BOX 230S on VW Amarok: Test passed – highly recommended for individualists!

In August 2025, a TISCHER BOX 230S living cabin on a VW Amarok was put to the test by the editors of promobil. In the DIE TESTCAMPER series, they took a close look at the combination: outside and inside, stationary and in action on winding off-road terrain. Part of the test took place in a gravel pit and focused on mounting and dismounting the cabin. All of this was recorded in a 19-minute video and in the test report, which came to a positive conclusion.

What we are particularly pleased about in the promobil test result is that the BOX 230S, combined with its base vehicle, is recommended as the ideal solution for people who value individuality and flexibility. It conveys a sense of adventure when driving and travelling. The testers describe it as clever, self-sufficient and highly practical.
